Intro to the National Archives
Finally! Something that grabbed my students interest and then kept it. Especially towards the end of the school year when they've mentally checked out. It was very interesting and afterwards they wanted to talk about what they learned. One of my favorite things to do in class is to have them tell me the points that most interested them. More times than not they all repeat what we discussed in the beginning.... basically giving me the impression they weren't paying attention half way through.... but in this case they were able to tell me about various parts of the presentation. They were paying attention and they learned something! Fantastic! Thanks!
