I recently offered my travel softball team a chance to participate in the Montserrat mission. Needless to say what a terrific experience this was for my players (ages 12-14). The girls were immediately thrown into a collaborative, challenging environment, forcing them to establish a command structure, identify roles and responsibilities, and solve complex issues as small groups, or overall as a team. Our flight director orchestrated the crisis scenario (Montserrat island evacuation during hurricane/volcano incidents) professionally, and enabled a perfect pace to keep attention high, interest strong, and the learning experience top notch. Thanks Laura!!!
