I've videoconferenced with KEA 4 times in the past 5 years. Christina and Rich do an amazing job of getting the kids involved with the lesson. There is a lot of interactivity to keep the kids engaged. Christina is a former teacher, so she knows rich, thought-provoking questions to ask of the kids. I always did the Mushing Alaska videoconference at the conclusion of my Iditarod unit. Not only did my students in PA get to see a different environment in Alaska, they got to experience a real dog sled ride when the camera was hooked up to the dogsled. How cool! KEA comes up with creative ideas to get kids motivated to learn. Their prices are extremely reasonable as well.
